  4. To my knowledge, most cases are not this severe. However, to answer your question, in this particular instance, I do not have any information on this patient, though I suspect they were blind in this eye until the condition was resolved.

  5. This patient had bilateral pupillary membranes – this eye had the more significant membrane. This image was taken just before the child was taken to surgery to remove his lens and provide a better view through the pupil.
